Ryumon Shogun Katana - Palisander Saya - RY-002B

The Ryumon Shogun Samurai Sword Katana has a hand forged and folded SISI 1060 carbon steel blade meticulously crafted for a damascus look. The blackened bronze tsuba (guard) and the kashira (butcap) bear the Tokugawa Shogunate kamon (family crest). Each sword in the series utilizes a one piece brass construction habaki (blade collar) to ensure proper fitting of the blade into the saya (scabbard). In addition, authentic ray skin is used to wrap the tsuka (handle) and then tied with japanese cotton ito.
